The design priority
Natural sandstone varies in tone, texture and slab size. A successful layout needs those differences arranged carefully while maintaining practical levels, edges and routes through the garden.

These completed examples show mixed-size sandstone paving arranged around lawns, established garden features and property edges, with the natural colour variation distributed across the finished surface.
